MICHAEL J. CROWLEY - has been trying cases and handling appeals for the firm’s clients for over twenty years. He is an experienced trial attorney in the federal and state courts where he handles litigation in a diverse variety of practice areas. Mike concentrates his litigation practice in the areas of aviation law, product liability, toxic tort, personal injury and commercial disputes. He is a member of numerous bar association and trial lawyer groups and is active in both the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel. In connection with the firm's aviation practice, in addition to managing significant litigation and handling trials, Mike has lectured on a variety of aviation related topics to various airlines and at aviation seminars, including presentations at the annual Southern Methodist University Air Law Symposium in Dallas, Texas. Mike currently is representing several of the firm's clients in the consolidated litigation arising out of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and is serving as a member of the Defendants' Executive Committee for that litigation.
Mike is a long time resident of the Village of Garden City in Nassau County, New York. In his time aware from the practice of law, Mike works with numerous community groups and charities. A sampling of his community service is as follows: long-time and active member of the Board of Directors for the Garden City Athletic Association; long-time member and former Director of the Garden City Estates Property Owners’ Association; currently a member of the Advisory Board to the charitable Miracle Foundation; multi-year term as the President of the Garden City Little League; and currently a member of the Board of Governors of The Cherry Valley Club. In addition to spending time with his wife and three children, Mike relaxes by reading and pursuing his passion for golf.
