Peter Vetro is formerly a U.S. General Counsel for British Airways, Plc, and past Board of Director to a N.Y. based international insurance company. He holds a law degree and an undergraduate degree in economics from St. John’s University. He practices in the aviation, automotive, product liability, inland marine, insurance and commercial litigation and non litigation areas. He is a member of the New York State, Nassau County, New York City and American Bar Associations and has authored a wide variety of published and non published articles, including Federal Preemption in Aviation Litigation—How High Will It Fly, published in For Defense Magazine; The Concept of Secondary Liability--A Conflict Between Car Rental Agencies and personal Lines Insurers, published in Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel Quarterly, March 1996; Spoliation and Electronic Evidence, presented at the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, May, 2004, Dublin, Ireland.
