| Seth W. Berman holds a degree from Ohio University School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Alfred University. Mr. Berman was honorably discharged from the United States Navy where he served in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. During his service to the United States, Mr. Berman was appointed a Special Assistant United States Attorney in order to allow him to represent the Navy in Federal Court on Federal Tort Claims matters and handled other Federal Tort Claims matters. Mr. Berman was also the Senior Defense Counsel for N.A.S. Oceania which supported over thirty commands. Mr. Berman was responsible for the Criminal Defense Department assignment of cases and the training of other criminal defense attorneys. During his time as a criminal defense attorney in the Navy, Mr. Berman handled over one hundred and twenty cases and had an outstanding record of accomplishments on behalf of his clients. Mr. Berman was also a partner in a law firm in Virginia for one year where he handled Federal and State criminal cases, plaintiffs and military criminal cases. Mr. Berman was a business owner, in family owned Executive Car & Limousine business, in New York City for ten years.. Mr. Berman was a plaintiff’s attorney for two and a half years before joining Gallagher Gosseen Faller & Crowley and has obtained extensive knowledge of all of the Courts in the New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties. Mr. Berman is admitted to practice in United States Supreme Court, New York, New Jersey and Virginia and the United States District Courts for Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, New Jersey, Eastern District of Virginia, The United States Court of Military Appeals, The Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. |
